7 Days Tour Buddhist Pilgrim :

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Swoyambunath:

This is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2,000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire’s base are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3km west of Kathmandu city and is situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu Valley and hence commands an excellent view of the Valley. This Stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Mounument List in 1979,

Baudhanath: - The Stupa of Bouddhanath lies 8km east of Kathmandu. This ancient colossal Stupa is one of the biggest in the world, and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. It was listed in the UNESCO woand Heritage Monument List in 1979. Entrance fee at Bouddhanath for SAARC (South Asian) nationals is Rs.15 and for other foreigners Rs.50

Patan Darbar Squire: - Situated in the heart of the city, constitutes the focus of visitors’ attraction. The Square is full of ancient palaces, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings. The Patan Durbar Square consists of three main chowks or courtyards, the Central Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshar Narayan Chowk. The Sundari Chowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal Bath called Tushahity. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. Back to Hotel.

Day 03 Fly to Bharatpur Chitwan National Park

Chitwan is one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its dense concentration of wildlife and top class tourist lodges, which provide the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat. Chitwan which means the ‘heart of the jungle’ is among the last surviving examples of the continuous band of forests and grasslands which once extended from the Indus River in Pakistan to the Burmese border. The main attraction here is the Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the largest forest regions in Asia teeming with wildlife such as the rare great one-horned rhinoceros, several species of deer, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar, fresh water dolphin, crocodile , more than 350 species of birds and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. Visitors to Chitwan may enjoy elephant back excursions, nature walks, canoe trips and jungle treks. Over night Rainbow safari Resort.

Day 04: Full day Jungle activities Chitwan Royal Park Resort

Day 05: Four hours Drive to Lumbini:-
The main attraction at the Lumbini remains the Sacred Garden spread over 8sq km and possessing all the treasures of the historic ares. The Mayadevi temple is the main attraction for pilgrims and archaeol-gists alike. Here we find a bas relief of Mayadevi, the Buddha’s mother giving birth to him. Standing west to the Mayadevi shrine is the oldest monument fo Nepal, the Ashokan Pillar. The pillar was crected by Emperor Ashoka in 249Bc to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site. To the south of the pillar, we find the sacred pond, Puskarni, where Queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha.

Day 06: 7 hours Drive to Pokhara the Monlight Hotel. Pokhara:

An enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m), is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fistail summit of Machchhapuchhre (6,977m) rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalay. Situated 200 km west of Kathmandu, Pokhara is connected by air as well. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machchhapuchhre, five peaks of Annapurna and others.

Day 07: Fly to Kathmandu at that day departure from Kathmandu.

Day 08: Free day Kathmandu

Day 09: Dep. Kathmandu
