Mt. Ombigaichan

Mt.Ombigaichan is an unclimbed peak on one of the ridges off Ama Dablam. It’s a peak well hidden and the approach isn’t an easy one, even located just outside the famous Everest base camp trekking trail. You get a firs good view of this untamed beauty above Ama Dabalam base camp, and – awesome. It looks technically…. Terrifying. Unclimbed and certainly a big challenge for experience climbers.

Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu and transfer hotel
Day 2 Kathmandu Free day
Day 3 Fly to Lukla (2,800m) & trek to Phakding (2,640m). Overnight camping
Day 4 Trek from Phakding to Namche and overnight camping. 3,445m
Day 5 Namche - Rest/acclimatisation day and overnight camping.
Day 6 Trek from Namche to Tengboche and overnight camping. 3,867m
Day 7 Trek from Tengboche to Amadablam Base Camp.
Day 8 Trek from Amadablam Base Camp to Ombigaichan Base Camp
Day 9-21 Climbing period.
Day 22 Climbing up Base Camp.
Day 23 Trek from Ombigaichan BC to Tengboch.
Day 24 Trek from Tengboch to Namche.
Day 25 Trek fro Namche to Lukla.
Day 26 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
Day 27 Kathmandu
Day 28 Departure from Kathmandu.
